Need help getting started?

I can’t find Article Reader

Click the puzzle-shaped Extensions icon near Chrome’s address bar. Find Article Reader and click the pin icon next to it. If it isn’t listed, check that you’re using the Chrome profile where you installed it.

How do I change the voice or speed?

Start listening, then use the voice picker and speed control in the Article Reader popup. Available voices depend on your browser and operating system.

Can I listen to just part of a page?

Highlight some text, right-click the selection, and choose “Read selection” from the menu.

Why can’t Article Reader read this page?

Try opening an article, such as our sample article. Chrome blocks extensions on some pages, including its settings and the Chrome Web Store.
